There’s always something in the way…

galations 2 20

Its so difficult to see past our failures and shortcomings in life. I often find myself thinking of everything I’ve done, every ill decision I’ve made, every person I’ve hurt or every person I’ve let down. We as people are so quick to defeat ourselves and hold ourselves prisoner under the weight of our sins. At times we may even question if we are worthy enough to take on Gods work. How could God love me knowing the things I have done in my life?

He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace-with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. – Romans 4:25-5:2

We should never dwell on our past sins. We should give praise that Jesus came and gave himself, so that we could be free from those sins. The past already happened and there’s nothing you can do to change it, just know that you can and will receive forgiveness if you seek it. We have to break free from these things that are holding us down. Our God is an awesome God and there is absolutely nothing he can not bring you through. Yes, There is always something standing in your way, but there is also always something getting through. It is our duty on this earth to take up the cross and break through any barrier in our path to spread the good word and to do everything we can to further glorify God.
